      One of the best Soundgarden songs of all time, it peaked at No.3 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks chart and bagged them a Grammy Award in 4: ‘Outshined’ (Badmotorfinger, ).

      Soundgarden, Chris Cornell, Kim Thayil, Hiro Yamamoto, Matt Cameron - Flower heard Soundgarden I was instantaneously addicted to their style, genre, and musical talents. And just had to own every album they put out. I absolutely love this record, at first I was expecting a small 45 rpm vinyl, but no this is a full size vinyl that comes with /5(5).

      General CommentWhat a great early Soundgarden tune this was - Just looking at the lyrics, they seem pretty straight forward; and the "flower" the song speaks about seems to have a double meaning - About how this girl grew and blossomed into a young lady, and eventually wilted and died, but also referring to the flowers on her grave, obviously.I'm convinced Chris paid attention in English class.

      As soon as a heard the intro to Flower on my turntable I got instant chills down my body. Head Injury is also a great song showing their early raw power. Toy box is this Erie very melodic full song. This record is worth the price and any Soundgarden fan should own especially if you dig on their older material/5(5).
